Training “Getting a Good Deal”
Central to this training are general negotiation skills, with a focus on sales negotiations. The traditional view of a negotiation is game of give-and-take between a seller and a buyer, and indeed, these negotiations are regularly encountered by sales department. In our course we will teach when to give and when to take, in order to reach win-win agreements that satisfy both you and your business partner. We start with person-to-person negotiation and end with a multi-party decision-making exercise. During the training, we will cover topics like negotiation styles, win-win negotiation, common negotiation mistakes, and how to deal with information and trust during negotiations.
Training “Dispute Resolution”
Whenever people work together, conflicts are bound to arise. People may have different interests, different opinions or different ideas about how the work should be carried out. Negotiation is a way to manage these differences. In this training we will focus on how to use negotiation to settle differences, and to come to a solution that is acceptable for all parties. We start with person-to-person negotiation and end with a multi-party decision-making exercise. During the training, we will cover topics like negotiation styles, win-win negotiation, power issues, communication and non-verbal behavior, emotions, and how to deal with divergent values and principles.
Training “Team Decision Making”
People often work in teams, in which people with different backgrounds have to work together to organize their work and to solve problems when they arise. Diversity in a team can be great asset when people with different ideas and knowledge pool their information and come up with new and innovative solutions. Diversity can also backfire, when people with different ideas and backgrounds have difficulties understanding each other or do not share their expertise. In this training we focus on how to reap the benefits of team work and to optimize team decision making, while overcoming the potential downsides of team work. During the training, we will cover topics like negotiation styles, win-win negotiation, diversity, power, ethics, communication, creativity and team decision making.
